some more mixed work…
So i honestly never thought my happy ass will end up so freaking busy with paints 🙂 It is very awesome feeling js!! haha. I keep forgetting to keep this place up to date and shoot some jobs were in and out so fast there was no time for pictures . But here is few recent paint splashes
From all the jobs done in last 2 weeks this one is worth of posting. Its a full custom paint job, candy, pearls, graphic and custom chrome by Roncos. Josh shoot all the chrome and i went over with purple candy on the wheels.Color Chrome is way to go, looks badazz. I shoot silver medium metallic for the base, then candys then bunch of other zhit and clear on the end. We all were working on tight schedule and thank God no one run to any troubles. Everything done on time.
Well got it done with some technical difficulties. Some of my outdated equipment refused to work correctly in the past few days. But i manged somehow.
I spent my weekend painting this goalie hockey mask. The mask was originally metallic red and in decent condition, which made the prep a little easier on me. I started with a fresh coat of white base over the primer, then some toned-down skin tone color, art work and finally, clear coat. It was all done with HOK paints. The back plate piece was airbrushed with very thin sepia and some pagan gold candy. The main mask was mainly painted using traditional brush and finished by airbrush to get the smooth look and to add few shadows. The first layer of clear was mixed with little blue ice pearl, just a small touch. It was fun a project. I’m ready for the next one. 🙂
Here is the monster grill that I put some letters on . Guys build these things from scratch for serious BBQ competitions. That giant will serve for few hungry generations. Anyways I added a Packers logo and some flames. It was fun project.
